Nigerians criticise Governor Masari for buying coffins

While Nigerians lament the state of the economy, the Katsina state governor, Aminu Bello Masari, has reportedly bought 3,000 coffins which he distributed to mosques. The coffins were allegedly bought at N40, 000 each according to a blogger and critic, Jamil Maba. In many states in Nigeria, workers are owed various amounts in salaries and arrears while pensioners have severally protested alleged neglect.
